When you think of Monte Carlo or its tiny principality, Monaco, you think of things royal. Princess Grace and the handsome Grimaldi dynasty. The glittering Casino de Monaco. Or maybe James Bond in a tuxedo, winning big. (At least that's what I think of.)

But there's another kind of royalty in Monte Carlo. The kings and queens of African-American music rule the roost at Black Legend Monaco.

This Monte Carlo club is a palace of beloved sounds from the 1950s through today, finessed by top-notch tribute bands that beg you to get up and dance.
